The CD was shipped from Argentina and was a S American release, NOT the one pictured on Amazon. The case was cracked to the point where the CDs just sort of wobble around inside. Only one tab holds the case together. I probably won't use this seller again.
Derek and the Dominos treat us with BELL BOTTOM BLUES and, of course, LAYLA. COMPLETE CLAPTONI have always been a fan of Eric's but my interest was renewed after we adopted our newest Greyhound girl, Leyla. I finally had to own this CD.What a good move. There are 36 cuts on this CD including some by CREAM, BLIND FAITH and DEREK and the DOMINOS.The Cream cuts include I FEEL FREE, SUNSHINE OF YOUR LOVE, and my personal favorite by them, WHITE ROOM. This is one CD I am so glad to add to my collection. This CD is LOADED and I mean LOADED with the best of the best.
Who wouldn't love this CD.Eric Clapton can rock and roll. We have been walking around singing LAYLA to her over and over again. Everyone's favorites are here too -- CHANGE THE WORLD, TEARS IN HEAVEN, MY FATHER'S EYES, and LAY DOWN SALLY. The vocals, the music, everything is just perfect. This is classic rock and roll, along with all of Clapton's hits. His vocals and guitar work are out of this world.
And Leyla our Greyhound is happy to listen to it repeatedly too.This is a must have CD.Thank you.Pam
Good album. It is not really The Complete Clapton, as some of his oldies but goodies aren't on it, although it does come close. Very enjoyable. Money well spent.
This double CD isnot only wonderful but a great buy. It is a must have. I recommend it for any one who remembers the late 60s and early 70s great music. The remastered Cream is wonderful as are all of Eric's newer hits. I've been rocking out to it on my way to work in my funky little VW bug ever since I received It. Check it out.
Great CD, Well worth getting, excellent selection of his work, great sound quality.
